Frequently Asked Questions

See if we can help you answer any questions you have below!

What makes Fort Worth Cattle Company different from buying beef at the grocery store?

We partner directly with generational ranchers who have mastered the craft of raising premium cattle. Instead of a long, complex supply chain, our beef goes straight from the ranch to your table—ensuring unmatched quality, consistency, and flavor while supporting local ranching families.

How does the ordering and delivery process work?

You choose your box or bulk beef option on our website. From there, we handle everything—processing, storage, packaging, and shipping through our cold-chain partners. Your order arrives frozen, carefully packed, and ready for your freezer.

Is your beef grass-fed or grain-finished?

Each ranch has its own unique feeding program, but all beef we sell is premium, high-quality, and raised with care. We highlight these details on each product page so you know exactly what you’re getting from the ranch you choose.

Can I buy in bulk (quarters, halves, wholes)?

Yes! We offer bulk beef for families, freezers, and serious steak lovers. Buying bulk gives you the best value and widest selection of cuts. It’s also the closest you can get to purchasing straight from the ranch.

Where can I find your beef locally?

In addition to ordering online, you can find our beef at Roy Pope Grocery in Fort Worth, Deep Cuts Butcher in Dallas, and Hamms Meat Market in McKinney. We’re continually expanding to more restaurants and retail partners.

How do you ensure food safety and quality?

We only work with USDA-inspected processors and maintain strict cold-chain logistics from butcher to delivery. Every order is handled with care to ensure it’s safe, fresh, and of the highest quality.

Do you ship outside of Texas?

Yes! We ship nationwide. Our system keeps your beef frozen and secure during transit, so whether you’re in Texas or across the country, you’ll get ranch-quality beef delivered straight to your door.
